Reciprocal Assemblies (Phase II)
In the second phase of the studio, we were individually tasked to understand the direct impacts of climate change on the project site. The program required us to design a pavilion and propose an environmental monitoring station to carry forward informed understandings of threshold.
My designed structure will not only function as a measuring tool for environmental impacts, but also act as an educational platform for the public to understand issues of climate change.
Consideration was given to material sourcing/ construction/afterlife, embodied energy, environmental data collection, impacts to the site (both current and predicted), during the designing stage.
