Reciprocal Assemblies (Phase I)

The studio was divided into two phases, first being the phase of understanding the term 'Threshold'. And after working on it for 2-3 weeks, our definition of threshold was "the space which creates ambiguity between the inside and outside. We were also trying to explore the idea of how lines can create thresholds and how a single act of tilting can make a space voluminous."

For us it was all about the zone which connects two spaces, i.e. the before and after where It could range from a boundary to a transitional space depending on the condition thus having to creating an intense moment. It was about a boundary that must be crossed or exceeded for a certain condition to occur, to take you from the before to after.
