Having lived in different cities and moving since the age of 12, traveling became my calling. I would eagerly await my dad to plan our next travels. That’s how I developed my interest in architecture. From that age, my curiosity about different cultures and designs shaped my future aspirations. I knew I wanted to learn more about it and find ways in which I would be able to incorporate this knowledge into my dream home.
After getting a Bachelor’s in Architecture, the idea of being able to study further whilst living in a new country motivated me to enroll myself in a Master’s program. Getting into the graduate program of Interior Architecture – MA in Adaptive Reuse, Rhode Island School of Design was like a dream come true. Throughout my time at RISD, I have not only gained a new outlook towards design but also gotten more aware of our surroundings and realized the importance of adaptive reuse in today’s world. I cannot wait to see what life has in store for me ahead.
